CrossFit Games

In 2013, Toomey participated in the CrossFit Open for the very 1st time less than a month after starting CrossFit. She was only ranked 18th in the Australian Regional the year after she qualified for the Regionals. After two years of CrossFit events, Toomey initially prepared for the CrossFit Games in 2015. In her first year, she came in second place to Katrn Davsdóttir and was voted Rookie of the Year.

Webb suffered a penalty following a judgment blunder that cost him points in the penultimate race. In a close race to the finish, Toomey defeated Webb by only two points to win her first Game.
